ARTIST STATEMENT
New York
2001

Generally, my work is influenced by everything - what was, or is, connected with me, or that I have allowed to influence me since childhood. I have met a variety of people, seen many movies, TV films, theatre plays, read books ranging from serious to comics, newspapers, magazines, listened to music from classic to techno, traveled to many different countries all over the world.

People often find a lot of variety in my artwork, from black and white to very colorful, from abstract to figurative. I prefer to work in different styles and techniques as well, from Acrylic to Mixed Media, I love variety and my subjects are different as well. I like to play with color and form and with all the information I get around me, which is changing every day and every moment.

I do not depend on any religion or party, I prefer to be a free creature on earth or, better, in this universe. We are all born into a network of connections, but we have to decide, every day, which connections we want to keep and which we want to lose and which connections are good for us. I love to be flexible, with people and, of course, with my artwork. To work with a variety of media is vital for me, because life is full of variety. In life there are always changes, nothing remains the same.

My art reflects this.
