Pandora's Vessel I, 1994.
Sandy Winters used a series of drawings, completed in the summer of 1993 as the basis for a set of four black and white soft ground etchings. Modern Times I, is one of these images, developed into a four-color, four plate sugarlift/aquatint print, and is a fine example of her mysterious and whimsical work. The prints were drawn by the artist on the plates with the technical assistance of Orlando Condeso at Spring Press in October of 1993 and were printed by Victoria Willis on Arches Cover White.
