This print is a fine example of Venancio's work. Of both Latin and Asian ancestry, his work uses a complex and elaborate symbolic language in a well-balanced narrative which combines the two cultural gifts. The print was drawn by the artist on the plates with the technical assistance of Orlando Condeso at Spring Press in November of 1993. Lanzón 1993. is a 3-plate aquatint in five colors. Printed on Arches Cover White.
