| Hand painted starch resist indigo dyed woman’s cloth is a classic design called "Ori mi pe" – literally translated as "my head is correct" it means "I will have a good destiny" as the head is the seat of personal destiny in Yoruba belief. Dates from 1960s and is in excellent condition.
