Meditation About AIDS, Quarantine, Exile and Personal Loss designed and executed by Lyman Piersma

20 contributors provided color xeroxes, silkscreens, rubber stamps, photography and poetry, and fiction to this compilation. This is an accordion book structure which unfolds into a cross shape. Overall design of the pages and cover by Piersma is a bold and somber black and white graphic. The container is closed with a clay embossed seal. 1987, edition 65, 8" x 9" (22 1/2" x 69" open) $250

Journey Tales by Ann Kresge

A hand bound folio of seven color viscosity etchings and accompanying letterpress broadsides printed on rag paper. The multi-color etchings are visual reactions to the stories and masks of storyteller/sculptor Suzanne Benton who collected them while traveling around the world. These stories are from the verbal traditions of different cultures, and the rich imagery reflects these sources. Housed in a handmade folio box. 1985, edition 30, 11" x 15" $800
